Question Bank Blueprint
This is the build target for the question bank. It prevents a large count of easy questions from being mistaken for exam readiness. A question belongs to the domain whose decision it primarily tests; tag secondary concepts in related.

Current counts are verified from front matter on 2026-08-21. “Build and release” includes the existing CI, release, dependency-management, and IaC questions because the current AZ-400 blueprint places package, deployment, IaC, and maintenance under that domain.
Required shape for each objective
For each explicit objective, write at least three questions before calling it adequately practised:
- Choose or configure — select the service, setting, or design.
- Diagnose — interpret a failure or unexpected result.
- Distinguish — reject a plausible but wrong alternative and explain why.
Use multi-concept case scenarios after basic coverage exists. Do not copy Microsoft exam questions or use product trivia without an operational decision.
Release gate for a question
Before adding a question, check that it has:
- a concrete scenario and one unambiguous best answer;
- a correct explanation for every distractor;
- links to the concepts required to reason about it;
- a current-blueprint domain; and
- no claim about pricing, limits, or product behavior that has not been checked against an authoritative source.
