Measure DevOps flow and delivery health
Overview
Metrics answer decisions: where work waits, whether delivery is reliable, and whether users see a healthy service. This module connects planning data, pipeline results, and production telemetry without reducing people to a leaderboard.

Hands-on (required embedded lab)
Create a training dashboard or query that shows lead/cycle time, pipeline duration/failure rate, and one service-health measure. Define each event boundary and data source. Deliberately change one query filter so it returns misleading data, explain the decision risk, then restore the correct filter. Remove test dashboards or data connections when finished.
Exam focus
- Pair speed metrics with reliability/quality metrics.
- Select metrics and queries based on a decision, not on what is easiest to count.
